Bhediya

Bhediya is the original motion picture soundtrack for the 2022 Bollywood comedy horror film of the same name, directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan (Maddock Films). The film starred Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon and was the second installment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, following Stree (2018). Music was composed by Sachin-Jigar (Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya), with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The soundtrack EP was released on December 6, 2022, under Zee Music Company.

The film was rooted in the legend of the Yapum, a shape-shifting creature from Arunachal Pradesh mythology that protects the forest. More than 70 percent of the cast and crew were drawn from Arunachal Pradesh itself, and the production was shot on location in Ziro valley, making it a rare mainstream Bollywood film to deeply engage with the region's culture and landscape. Chief Minister Pema Khandu praised the film publicly for showcasing the state's scenic beauty and cultural grandeur.

The soundtrack contains five tracks, blending romantic ballads, folk-influenced pieces, and a theme composed by Arunachal-based rapper K4 Kekho. Sachin-Jigar's compositions balance intimacy and playfulness, complementing the film's mixture of comedy, romance, and folklore-rooted horror.
