Daughter From Hell
About this Album
Daughter from Hell is the third studio album by Gracie Abrams, released July 17, 2026 through Interscope Records.[1][9] Aaron Dessner returns as co-writer and co-producer alongside Abrams, with Dan Nigro also credited as a producer, and the 16-track record was made between 2024 and 2026.[1]
The title refers to Abrams herself and to the trouble she caused as a child. She has said she apologized to her mother after finishing it.[6] Critics have framed the record as a reckoning with her younger self,[5] and reception has been mixed, with praise for its portrait of adulthood[8] and complaints about vague lyrics and cautious sound.[3],[10]
The record took about two years to make, with sessions at Electric Lady in New York, Long Pond in the Hudson Valley and a London studio. Abrams began writing while still touring The Secret of Us, and several songs, including "Death Wish" and "Cold Goodbyes," were played live in 2025 before release. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
