For the First Time
About this Album
For the First Time is the debut album from Black Country, New Road, released by Ninja Tune on February 5, 2021.[1][2] It collects six songs, including new versions of the earlier singles "Athens, France" and "Sunglasses."[1]
Produced by Andy Savours, it was designed to capture the live energy of the seven-piece band.[2] Isaac Wood described it as a document of the group's first eighteen months, and not a conceptual work.[1][2]
