I Knew It, I Knew You

"I Knew It, I Knew You" is Taylor Swift's 2026 single for Disney and Pixar's Toy Story 5, released through Walt Disney Records on June 5, 2026, two weeks before the film reached theaters.^[1] Swift and Jack Antonoff wrote and produced it, and it plays as a country-pop ballad from the perspective of the cowgirl Jessie.^[3]

Swift has said she wrote it right after an early screening of the film, and later described the writing as a musical departure and a homecoming at the same time.^[1][4] Acoustic and piano versions followed, and physical editions arrived on June 19.^[3]
