Transformer
About this Album
Transformer is Lou Reed's second solo album, released on November 8, 1972 and produced by David Bowie and Mick Ronson. Following a commercially unsuccessful solo debut, it brought Reed mainstream recognition, led by Walk on the Wild Side, and explores sexual openness, New York decadence and the world of Andy Warhol's Factory. Rolling Stone later placed it at number 109 on its list of the 500 greatest albums.
