Biography

Alessi Rose (born Alessandra Rose Jones, 27 October 2002) is an English singer-songwriter from Littleover, Derby, working in pop, indie pop and alt-pop.[1] She began writing songs at 13 and later studied poetry at university in London.[1]

During the COVID-19 lockdown she taught herself music production on a cracked copy of Logic Pro, and she grew up with no family connections to the music industry.[1][3] She has described cold-messaging producers she admired, building an audience through TikTok livestreams, and writing late at night in her bedroom.[2][3]

Her debut single "Say Ur Mine" arrived in June 2023, followed by the EPs Rumination as Ritual (2024), For Your Validation (January 2025) and Voyeur (July 2025).[1] She has supported Noah Kahan, Tate McRae and Dua Lipa, including stadium and arena dates, and in 2026 released the singles "Skin," "Dependent" and "Fun."[1] Her stated influences include Lorde, Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, Gracie Abrams and Feist, and she has named Madonna, Britney Spears and Gwen Stefani as pop heroes.[1][2]

Her songwriting draws openly on real relationships, and the title of Rumination as Ritual comes from her experience with OCD and the habit of replaying past mistakes.[3]
