Biography
Cloud Nothings is an American rock band from Cleveland, Ohio, built around the songwriter and singer Dylan Baldi. The project began as Baldi's solo effort and its early records were short, hooky, lo-fi pop songs.
By the time of the 2011 self-titled album, Baldi had grown bored with that approach and was eager to write heavier material.[1] For the follow-up, Attack on Memory (2012), the live band became full-time members and co-writers, and the group recorded in Chicago with Steve Albini.[2] The record was a sharp stylistic turn that earned a Best New Album designation from Pitchfork and a place on several year-end lists.[2]
