Biography
Faye Webster is a singer-songwriter and photographer from Atlanta, Georgia, born June 25, 1997.[1] She began writing songs around age 14, and self-released her debut album, Run and Tell, in 2013 at 16.[1]
After a short stretch studying songwriting at Belmont University in Nashville, she left and returned to Atlanta.[1] There she joined the city's hip-hop circles, releasing music through Awful Records and photographing rappers for major publications, including a Nike Air Max 97 campaign in 2017.[1][2]
Her self-titled second album arrived in 2017. In late 2018 she signed to Secretly Canadian, announcing the deal with the single "Kingston."[3] Her sound pairs pedal steel and American folk and country songwriting with R&B and soul warmth.[3][4] Albums include Atlanta Millionaires Club (2019), I Know I'm Funny Haha (2021) and Underdressed at the Symphony (2024).[1]
