Biography
Fuerza Regida is a regional Mexican group that formed in March 2015 in San Bernardino, California, as a four-member cover band.[1] Jesus Ortiz Paz is the lead vocalist and frontman, and he also founded Street Mob Records.[2]
The group began in the norteno tradition and became pioneers of corridos tumbados, later folding in urban sierreno, Sinaloan banda, reggaeton, EDM and house.[1] A viral 2018 song led to a record deal, and their albums include Del Barrio Hasta Aqui (2019), Pero No Te Enamores (2024) and 111xpantia (2025), which debuted at number two on the Billboard 200.[1]
Their collaboration with Grupo Frontera reached number one on Hot Latin Songs, and the band has won an American Music Award, Billboard Music Awards and Billboard Latin Music Awards, with Grammy and Latin Grammy nominations.[1] In 2026 they contributed the single "Suzuki" to Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album.[3]
