Biography
Hannah Read, who records as Lomelda, is a songwriter from Silsbee, a small town in Southeast Texas near the Louisiana border.[1] She began releasing music while still in high school, taking the name Lomelda as a kind of echo of the stars.[2] Her first album, Forever, arrived in 2015, followed by Thx.[2]
Her records have been produced and engineered by her brother Tommy, and her 2020 album Hannah was recorded in his studio in their hometown.[1] Her songs return again and again to communication and the distance between people.
