Biography
Mariah Carey is an American singer, songwriter and producer whose career has spanned multiple decades of pop and R&B, known for a wide vocal range and a long run of chart-topping singles.
Her twelfth studio album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, was released on September 28, 2009, and debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. Its lead single, "Obsessed," which she co-wrote and produced with Tricky Stewart and The-Dream, reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 and became her 27th US top-ten hit.[1][2] The single was widely read as a response to a public feud with the rapper Eminem.[1]
