Biography
Niontay Hicks is an American rapper and producer, born in Milwaukee and raised largely in Florida after his family relocated there when he was five years old[1]. His father died when he was ten, after which he remained in Florida with his mother, whose strict household discipline, taking away his belongings and ordering him to stay in his room and read, pushed him toward writing as an outlet[1].
He did not pursue rapping seriously until moving to New York, where an offhand late-night cypher reignited his interest and he met the rapper MIKE[1][2]. The two quickly became close collaborators, with MIKE taking him on tour and signing him to his label, 10K Global. Niontay has described the bond as central to his creative process, saying he will not finish a project without playing it for MIKE first[1].
Niontay's own catalog includes the 2023 EP Demon Muppy and the album Fada<3of$, and he has appeared alongside MIKE and Earl Sweatshirt on posse cuts including "Real Hiphop." In 2026 he featured on "F.E.A.R.," a track on MIKE's Pompeii half of the joint MIKE and Earl Sweatshirt double album POMPEII // UTILITY[2].
