Remi Wolf
Biography
Remi Wolf (born February 2, 1996, in Palo Alto, California) is an American singer, songwriter and producer known for colorful, genre-blending pop, funk and soul.[1] She was a competitive skier as a child, sang in school bands and appeared in the audition rounds of American Idol in 2014.[1]
Her releases include the EP I'm Allergic to Dogs! (2020), the albums Juno (2021) and Big Ideas (2024), and Mud (2026).[1][3] She entered rehab for alcohol use in 2020 and has been sober since, a subject that runs through her later work.[1][2]
Mud, made with a close circle of friends and collaborators across Nashville, Big Bear, New York and Joshua Tree, marks a quieter, more acoustic direction.[3]
Mud grew out of the end of a two-and-a-half-year relationship,[5] and Wolf has said she began writing it feeling very lost and very confused.[4] She has described the finished record as a cleansing one, saying she emerged feeling "clean and clear."[3]
