Biography
Tate McRae is a Canadian pop singer, songwriter and dancer. Her fourth album was led by the October 2026 single "Housewife," a satirical, glossy track about independence, fame and who gets to be provided for. She told a late-night host the song is about a woman who cannot be contained[1], and in a People interview she tied its themes to expectations placed on women in relationships and the entertainment industry[2].
