b'lieve i'm goin down... is Kurt Vile's sixth studio album, released September 25, 2015, on Matador Records. Vile and bandmate Rob Laakso produced most of it, and it was recorded at ten different studios, often late at night.[1]

Vile has called it a "life record" rather than a "dad record," and said that he chose recording spots tied to his collaborators, including Athens, Los Angeles, Joshua Tree, New York and Philadelphia, to keep the performances loose.[2] Critics responded warmly: the album holds a Metacritic score of 83 out of 100 and earned Best New Music from Pitchfork.[1]
