Bloom

Bloom is the fourth studio album by Beach House, released on May 15, 2012 through Sub Pop. It was recorded in 2011 at Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas, with Chris Coady co-producing, and mixed at Electric Lady Studios in New York. Its songs were written and demoed in the duo's Baltimore practice space before recording, and the album was widely praised, earning Pitchfork's Best New Music designation and debuting at number seven on the Billboard 200, the band's highest placement to that point.
