About this Album

Crisco is Miranda Lambert's eleventh studio album, released on October 2, 2026 through MCA[1]. It is a country-disco record built around boogie-forward grooves and sweeping strings[1].

Lambert has said the album carries a lot of joy, reflecting where she is in life, and that she felt she had earned the freedom to try something different. The project grew in part out of her Grammy-nominated collaboration with Chris Stapleton on a reworking of "Islands in the Stream" titled "A Song To Sing," which she credits with setting her on the path to the disco-influenced sound; Natalie Hemby co-wrote and played on five tracks, including one that features Ella Langley[1].

The record runs twelve songs and was produced by Lambert and Jesse Frasure[2]. Lambert has said that making it showed her heartbreak songs, honky-tonk songs, and dance songs do not need to be kept apart[2]. It closes with "Sunset Marquis," a tribute to a West Hollywood hotel she has frequented for nearly twenty years[2].
