Released on May 25, 2015, three weeks before the film's theatrical debut, the Hamari Adhuri Kahani soundtrack is the musical spine of Mohit Suri's romantic drama of the same name. Produced by Mahesh Bhatt under Vishesh Films, the film drew directly from Bhatt's own family history, giving the album's themes of incomplete love and sacrifice an autobiographical weight that distinguishes it from conventional Bollywood fare.
