About this Album

I Love You Jennifer B is the debut album by London duo Jockstrap, released on 9 September 2022 through Rough Trade and produced by Taylor Skye[4]. It gathers songs developed over roughly three years, with all lyrics by Georgia Ellery[4]. Critics were warm: it was shortlisted for the 2023 Mercury Prize and topped DIY's 2022 albums list[4].

The record was workshopped at London parties before release, and the duo first released EPs on Warp before signing to Rough Trade.[2] The Skinny gave it five stars, praising how it keeps the group's experimental chaos while letting emotion come through more clearly.[3] "Glasgow," the third single, was released on 14 June 2022, the day the album was announced; it was accompanied by a self-directed video, and it became one of the record's most widely praised tracks.[1][3]
