Lovelife
About this Album
Lovelife is the third and final studio album by Lush, released by 4AD on 18 March 1996. Recorded at Protocol Studios in London and produced by Pete Bartlett and the band, it moved away from the group's earlier dream pop and shoegaze sound toward Britpop.[1]
It reached number eight on the UK Albums Chart and produced three singles, "Single Girl", "Ladykillers" and "500 (Shake Baby Shake)", each of which reached the UK top 30.[1] The album also features a duet with Pulp's Jarvis Cocker, and became the band's best-selling record.[1][2]
