Standalone singles released by Kacey Musgraves, including "Dry Spell" (March 11, 2026), the lead single from her sixth studio album Middle of Nowhere (Lost Highway / Polydor, May 1, 2026). "Dry Spell" was co-written with Shane McAnally, Luke Laird, and Josh Osborne, and co-produced with Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk. The single marked Musgraves returning to her roots as a comedic, sharp-tongued country songwriter after the more introspective registers of Star-Crossed and Deeper Well.
