About this Album

Taster is the debut full-length by the Austin duo Hovvdy (Charlie Martin and Will Taylor), released in 2016 on Double Double Whammy.[1] It runs about twenty-four minutes, and the Austin Chronicle heard in it the restlessness and melancholy of youth in small Texas towns and suburbs, in a sadcore, lo-fi register.[2]

The song "Problem" is regarded as its highlight.[2]
