Vessel

Vessel is the 2018 Sub Pop album by Frankie Cosmos, released on March 30, 2018. It was the band's first record since signing to the label and its first full-length since Next Thing (2016).^[1] It runs to eighteen tracks and keeps several first or second takes that capture the band's energy after months of touring and rehearsing.^[1]

In an interview, Greta Kline described the album as concerned with the gap between what she says aloud, what she tells herself, and what she feels. Its songs date from roughly 2014 to late 2016, and four were recorded in stripped-down form rather than with the full band.^[2]
